Randy Gibson and his Lonnie Smith Construction crew came in and completely reconstructed my out dated kitchen and gave my condo a new and stylish look. The work was done quick and precise. The sub contractors were especially respectful and cleaned up after themselves. I am the envy of the neighborhood.

We found both Lonnie & Randy extremely knowledgeable and competent in what they do, which went a long way in reducing our stress level as this was our 1st custom built home. Their subs were very experienced and we never had a single complaint against any of them and I was at the job site nearly every day. Lonnie gave us a hard price and a completion date (8 mo. for a 5400 sq. ft. custom home) where all other builders we talked to indicated it would take over a year to build and they would not commit to a price. Lonnie Smith Construction has an excellent relationship with their subs as many have with him for years. And It is this relationship, in my opinion, contributed to achiveing that 8 month completion date. Marilyn, Johnita & Linda were also very helpful in keeping us on schedule, as well as giving us insights and suggestions with many of the decisions we had to make. They aslo provided a comfort level in both resolving minor problems quickly, as well as keeping a giant box of chocolates on hand to help sooth away any anxieties. The question is would we hire Lonnie Smith Construction to build our 2nd custom home? And that answer is, you bet.

We were on the verge of ordering a new triple wide manufactured home when Lonnie Smith pointed out the advantages of building a home for us (one of many being resale value!). One year had passed and the cost had tripled for the manufactured home we wanted. For pennies more Lonnie Smith Construction built us a beautiful home, coordinated the move of our existing manufactured home, handled all permits and completed construction in 4 (four) months. Unbelievable!! Our friends and family were amazed as we were. Though cautioned by many, we never did experience that "Near Death" or "Definite Divorce" associated with building a house. It is with the highest regard that we recommend Lonnie Smith for any construction needs he is willing to entertain. Lonnie built our home in 1989. The workmanship was beyond reproach. The job was done on time and within budget. That wasn't the best part. In 2004 we decided to have a major addition to our home. We , of course , thought of Lonnie. He agreed to take on the project and to our surprise had intact almost his entire crew from the 1989 original build. This brought institutional knowledge to the project rarely seen in the industry. The addition matched the home perfectly thanks to the keen eye and "connections" Lonnie had in the materials arena. He had things manufactured that others would not have the clout to achieve. We were amazed. This project too was on time and under budget. So... comes 2006 and we want a 1500 Sg. Ft. R.V. Barn constructed. We called Lonnie. Once more, on time and under budget, the project was completed to perfection yet again with his same crew. Any and all future work to my home/property will first go to Lonnie Smith Construction.
